About The420th
In 2001 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime that should have been legal. These men and women promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the digital underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have the skills, the sense of humor, and the mental fortitude to survive the uniquely outrageous recruitment process, maybe you can enlist with The420th.
The 420th Infantry Division is a 21+ online gaming clan and community focused on team play, camaraderie, and silly hijinks. Members come from all walks of life, including working professionals, parents, veterans, and casual PC gaming enthusiasts.
Inception & Expansion
Originally formed in 2001 as a tactical gaming unit in the original FPS Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon (PC), The420th officially organized into a competitive clan in Battlefield 1942. The420th competed in the CAL, TWL, and PL (12v12/8v8 PvP) leagues through the Battlefield series until Battlefield 3.
Since then, The420th has branched out into numerous subdivisions operating in numerous different games and communities.
The420th is organizationally comprised of a core division [=420th=] with various other game-specific subdivisions such as [CDXX] in fantasy MMOs, [BUD] in modern MMOs, [420F] in tactical shooters, and [WGE] in Wargaming.net.
Today, The 420th Infantry Division remains a close-knit organization operating in numerous games and social settings.

- INTEGRITY: Play with honesty and integrity. Members will not cheat or knowingly associate with those who do.
- THE TEAM: We are greater together than as individuals. Consider team objectives before personal achievement. Help your fellow teammates.
- THE TAG: Wearing the =420th= tag makes you a representative of the group. Do not share the account name and conduct yourself accordingly.
- FRIENDSHIP & REAL LIFE: The420th is foremost a group of like-minded friends who enjoy good camaraderie and games. Real-life obligations will always supersede gaming affairs. Be open and mindful of others’ real-life issues.
